AudioGO was formerly known as BBC Audiobooks, which won Audio Publisher of the Year six times.
AudioGO Limited was formed in 2010 by a group of investors gathered by Michael Kuhn and his partners Marc Meyer
and Malcolm Ritchie (who worked together at PolyGram). Michael, in his role as Chairman of the National Film and
Television School, knew fellow Governor Stephen Louis. And Stephen had partnered with Jonathan Scherer (formerly,
like Stephen, with NM Rothschild) in several successful investments alongside Mike Ross and Theo Fonternel. These
seven are now the partners in AudioGO.
Publishing
AudioGO is one of the most prolific publishers of large print books and complete and unabridged audiobooks in the world today. Our expanding range currently extends
to more than 10,000 titles in all, encompassing a wide range of best-selling authors and catering for all tastes. AudioGO will embrace the BBC’s history of broadcasting excellence as we continue to publish BBC-sourced content - from full-cast radio dramas and complete readings, to comedy, crime and children’s titles.
Complete and Unabridged Audiobooks
Our Chivers complete and unabridged audiobooks are read by the best narrators and are second to none in terms of quality. Indeed, despite being the pioneers and oldest established publishers of unabridged audio, virtually every audiobook title we have ever published remains in print and in demand.
In all the Chivers range encompasses more than 3,500 fiction and non-fiction titles on CD, cassette and Playaway - the new all-in-one digital audiobook.
Playaway
Playaway, the all-in-one digital audiobook, is available from AudioGO for both adults and children, and we continue to expand our range of titles in this format. Each Playaway comes ready-loaded with an excellent quality recording of your chosen audiobook. Playaways are smaller than a pack of cards - they’re so light and compact you can fit a whole book in your pocket! Technical knowledge isn’t required - just plug in the earphones, press play and listen straight away.

Tracklist is a range of unabridged CDs for adults that delivers carefully selected titles, often from newly-established authors, which will draw in fans of these popular genres: issue-led, topical non-fiction, adventure, humour and more besides.

Large Print Books
AudioGO publishes a considerable number of large print books, more than 700 every year, covering a broad spectrum of interests and encompassing contemporary fiction, non-fiction and classics. Our large print titles feature a minimum of 14point text, are specially typeset for ease of use for large print readers and appear under the following imprints:

Radio Collection
In addition to our unabridged audio and large print imprints, AudioGO is also the publisher of the Radio Collection, incorporating radio dramatisations and non-fiction derived from BBC Radio programming. The Radio Collection features more than 800 titles on CD, and ranges from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Lord of the Rings to Dead Ringers and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, together with non-fiction landmarks such as Letter from America and This Sceptred Isle.
Children's Titles

Packaging
All audio titles, including the Radio Collection, are supplied in purpose-designed library packaging, incorporating sturdy, custom-made boxes which protect cassettes and CDs and present them in an easy-to-use format. Sample packages are available on request.
Replacements
AudioGO will replace faulty items - individual cassettes and CDs - free of charge for a year from the date of publication, extended to three years for customers with standing orders. Thereafter it is our policy to ensure the supply of replacement cassettes and CDs for our audiobooks indefinitely.
