BBC Audiobooks is one of the most prolific publishers of large print books and complete and unabridged audiobooks in the world today. Our expanding range currently extends to more than 10,000 titles in all, encompassing a wide range of best-selling authors and catering for all tastes. Our range that also incorporates the complete catalogue of exceptional recordings that make up the BBC Radio Collection, with drama, comedy, history, children's stories and more.
Complete and Unabridged Audiobooks
Our Chivers complete and unabridged audiobooks are read by the best narrators and are second to none in terms of quality. Indeed, despite being the pioneers and oldest established publishers of unabridged audio, virtually every audiobook title we have ever published remains in print and in demand.
In all the Chivers range encompasses nearly 3,000 fiction and non-fiction titles on cassette, with some 400 of these also available on cd.
Cover to Cover
The selection of complete and unabridged audiobooks available from BBC Audiobooks also incorporates the complete Cover to Cover range of classic fiction and books from leading contempory children's authors.
Large Print Books
BBC Audiobooks publishes a considerable number of large print books, more than 700 every year, covering a broad spectrum of interests and encompassing contemporary fiction, non-fiction and classics. Our large print titles feature a minimum of 14point text, are specially typeset for ease of use for large print readers and appear under the following imprints:

BBC Radio Collection
In addition to our unabridged audio and large print imprints, BBC Audiobooks is also the publisher of the BBC Radio Collection, incorporating abridged readings, dramatisations and non-fiction derived from BBC Radio programming. The Radio Collection features more than 800 titles on cassette, cd and MP3-CD, and ranges from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Lord of the Rings to Dead Ringers and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, together with non-fiction landmarks such as Letter from America and This Sceptred Isle.
Children's Titles
Our ranges for children are as comprehensive as any available, featuring Chivers Children's complete and unabridged audiobooks on cassette and cd, Galaxy and Galaxy Plus large print books and Readalong large print book and cassette packs.
Standard Print Books
As well as the ranges outlined above, we publish a selection of hardcover crime novels under the Black Dagger imprint and selections of hardcover westerns under the Gunsmoke and Five Star imprints, all in standard print.

As you would expect, there is a range of special offers available, with discounts on new titles and a minimum discount of 10% applies to all showroom orders.
Service
We aim to fulfil all orders within ten days of receipt. Delivery is free of charge for all UK orders.
Library Servicing
Full library servicing is available on all titles supplied by BBC Audiobooks to individual Library Authority specifications and including Braille labelling if required: please contact Sammy Humphries as above for a comprehensive scale of charges.
Packaging
All audio titles, including the BBC Radio Collection, are supplied in purpose-designed library packaging, incorporating sturdy, custom-made boxes which protect cassettes and cds and present them in an easy-to-use format. Sample packages are available on request.
Replacements
BBC Audiobooks will replace faulty items - individual cassettes and cds - free of charge for a year from the date of publication, extended to three years for customers with standing orders. Thereafter it is our policy to ensure the supply of replacement cassettes and cds for our audiobooks indefinitely.
